In the Upper Black Forest we're above the winter fog most of the time!
Our house, built in the traditional „Black Forest Farm Style“, is cosy and welcoming — with a beautiful view over woods and hills.
Whatever you have planned for our stay, any kind of outdoor activities — such as hiking, walking, cycling, skiing, swimming, climbing, canoeing, diving,… — or if you prefer trips, sightseeing within the region of the Black Forest, or if you like to enjoy the various cultural highlights — such as museums, traditional farms, distilleries, breweries, cuckoo clock factories, wood carving manufactories,… — our home surely is the ideal starting point.
The Hochschwarzwald Card offers you more than 60 attractions to visit daily for free. Last but not least we supply you with free WiFi access, too!
Our comfortable beds will help you get a good night's rest — even tall guests appreciate our extra-long blankets! All bedrooms have blinds and insect screens.
You love cooking? So do we! Our kitchens are well equipped for everything from a quick breakfast to a proper holiday feast. And if something is missing, just let us know — we're happy to help. If you'd rather eat out, there are nice restaurants and taverns within walking distance.
Since Lenzkirch is a health resort, we offer a non-smoking house. You'll enjoy the fresh mountain air!

Apartment "Wutach".
Modern and bright
You will enjoy having breakfast in the morning sun on the cosy balcony! The apartment lies in south east direction and you can overview the Black Forest Hills to the Wutachschlucht — the biggest gorge in the region.
Apartment "Feldberg".
Cosy and "gemütlich"
This is the only apartment with carpet inlay, so animals are not allowed here. It is the ideal apartment for allergic people. After an adventurous day you will enjoy the evening sun with a glass of wine on the great balcony! And you can even see the Feldberg from there!
Apartment "Roodbach".
Sunny and spacious
This is our biggest apartment. On the big terrace you can relax in the sun and in the evening it is time for a nice barbeque!
This apartment is big enough for 4 persons and a baby!

Staying connected on holiday is easy — we provide free WiFi throughout the house.
All apartments come with modern LED TVs. Feel free to bring a Chromecast or Amazon Fire TV stick to enjoy your holiday photos, favourite series, or films on the big screen.

Every guest receives the Hochschwarzwald Card free of charge — it's included with your stay. With this card you and your family can enjoy free or discounted access to a wide range of cultural and leisure attractions, every day of your holiday.

The Surroundings
Lenzkirch is a paradise in the heart of the Black Forest — a wonderful place for hikers, mountain bikers, families, and anyone looking for rest and relaxation.
We live in Kappel, a quiet district of Lenzkirch at about 1000 m above sea level, on the sunny south side of the Hochfirst mountain (1190 m). The views over meadows, hills, and forests are simply lovely.

What can you do here?
There's a shared lawn for playing and relaxing right at the house. In Kappel you'll find a lovely outdoor swimming pool fed by a natural spring — barely any chlorine, just clear, fresh water. Tennis courts in Kappel and Lenzkirch are free for our guests, and after a hike you can rest your feet in the local park.
Within 10 km you can explore the Feldberg, Titisee, Schluchsee, Feldsee, the Wutach gorge, and the Windgfällweiher lake — swimming, paddle boating, cycling, or simply strolling along the shores. We also offer free golf and E-bike rentals.
On the Feldberg, guided ranger tours take you through the nature reserve with stunning views all the way to the Swiss Alps.
The Upper Black Forest tourist board (HTG) offers a great `program for children`_. And with local bus companies you can take day trips to Lake Constance, the island of Mainau, the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen, the beautiful Alsace in France, or even the Swiss Alps.
There's also the House of Nature on the Feldberg, the Hasenhorn Coaster in Todtnau, Steinwasenpark in Oberried, the Wild Animals Park in Löffingen, the rope-climbing garden in Titisee, Aqua Fun in Schluchsee, and the heated pools in Lenzkirch, Titisee, and Neustadt. And of course the Badeparadies in Titisee — just to name a few!
In winter, the region offers alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, sledging, and winter hiking.
